If so, join Richmond Toastmasters, where we explore the boundaries of our speaking and leadership skills.
WHO? We're a diverse group of 40 people dedicated to helping each other become the best we can be. We've been proudly serving the Richmond, BC community for over 25 years.
WHAT? We're a chapter of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization that helps members develop and improve public speaking skills through local club meetings, training seminars, and speech contests. Toastmasters International includes more than 250,000 men and women in more than 12,500 clubs in more than 100 countries.
WHY? We're the cheapest, most effective public speaking course around. Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers, or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better.
HOW? We meet every week for 2 hours. Each week we change roles, so over the course of a year you will have chaired meetings, prepared speeches, evaluated others, and been thrown into the impromptu speaking fire.
WHEN? We meet every Tuesday from 7pm to 9:10pm, and biweekly through the summer.
